Why can't young Scouters 18-20 be elected/nominated into the OA? How does the OA youth age range effect election to the OA?

A. Bob,
If a Scouter is registered in a Boy Scout troop he can be elected to the Order up to the age of 21 as a youth member as long as he meets all the youth requirements. Interestingly, the only position in which such a person can be registered is as an Assistant Scoutmaster. Any Scouter age 21 or older must be selected as an adult for membership.
