Q. Hi Ray,

I know the requirements for OA membership are that a scout must be a First Class Scout with 15 days and nights of camping, but I was wondering if there is a certain age that you must be in order to be eligible for election into the Order?

Thanks,
Tyler

A. Tyler,

There is no specific age mandated. The Scout must meet all the requirements and the Scoutmaster must believe that they live the Scout Oath and Scout Law in their daily lives and judge that they demonstrate good Scout spirit. If they can do those things at a young or older age, we welcome them to be considered for election to the OA.
