  2. Is well respected in the lodge
  3. Is currently involved in lodge events and activities
  4. Attends all lodge events and can attend  them moving forward
  5. Likes talking with both youth and adults
  6. Is a team builder
  7. Communicates well
  8. The youth-adult team that is selected work well together
  9. Communicates well
  10. Some lodges use their immediate past lodge chief as their contingent leader
