During the weekend of October 10th-12th, 2014, members of Seminole Lodge met for a weekend-long fiesta. The lodge leadership came up with a fiesta-themed fellowship based on its yearly patch set and the local Latin culture. Around 100 Arrowmen attended, enjoyed various Latin-based meals and celebrated at the fiesta Saturday night. It was headed by a single chairman with help from lodge members. A member of its 2nd place team at the 2012 National Order of the Arrow Conference performed his final ceremony before he aged out and became an adviser. This event also held true to all three points of our Order as they accomplished a good deal of service for the camp. The main feature being the fiesta on Saturday night was loved by everyone who attended. A sound system played traditional music in the background to set the theme. There were sombreros, a piñata and other items, as well as a variety of games. The fiesta had something for everyone. How does your lodge celebrate its unique culture?
