Have you ever had a something you were itching to know about the OA, but didn't know how to find the answer? Well, you are in luck! Ray Capp, chairman of the national OA committee, is open to answer your questions. Mr. Capp has been involved in scouting for 50 years. He was named national chairman in 2009. His goal has been to drastically improve communication between individual Arrowmen and the national leadership by creating methods to go directly from the national policy makers to, in his words, "the people to delivering the program on the front lines!"

The new strategy to communicate directly with the membership resulted in the creation of the "Ask the Chairman" feature on the OA's website. On average, Mr. Capp receives five questions a week. He will try to respond within hours to your questions if he knows the answer. For those he needs to research, it might take a few days, but he promises that if he doesn't know the answer, he certainly knows the people who do! Only a few of the hundreds he has received are posted on the National website, but do not let that fool you, he will answer your question!

You may contact the chairman, Ray Capp, at @email

Mr. Capp is a very approachable person for any Arrowmen who have questions about National policies and business. Don't ever be afraid to ask a question.
