The National Order of the Arrow Conference is headed back to Knoxville for the first time in more than 20 years! A new location brings new travel itineraries, and the NOAC leadership is here to help! For those contingents planning to fly to conference, we suggest traveling to one of the two closest major airports:
The University of Tennessee, Knoxville—the NOAC 2022 host site—is located about 20 minutes from the McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS). The airport services 23 non-stop destinations on Allegiant, American Delta, Frontier, and United airlines. Ground transportation from the airport to the conference site will be available for contingents and individuals for an additional fee.
Some contingents may opt to arrive at the Nashville International Airport (BNA), which is located about 2.5 hours from the conference site. BNA services additional airlines and non-stop destinations as compared to TYS. The NOAC Contingent & Staff Services team is currently assessing the feasibility of providing ground transportation to and from BNA at an additional cost. More details will be available soon.
Other contingents may want to carpool, ride a bus, or utilize other transportation options. No matter how you travel to Knoxville, please note that all contingents should arrive at UT on Monday, July 25, 2022. There are no accommodations available for early arrivals. Contingent check-in times will be assigned during the registration process. The first meal provided will be dinner on arrival day.
