In 1990 the National Planning Meeting was called the “Assembly of Chiefs”. The theme was “Focus ‘91”. Instead of planning a NOAC, this meeting would be to plan the featured 1991 program, “The Year of the Lodge”.Clint Takeshita, Pomponio Lodge, South San Francisco, California was elected National Chief. Jeff Posey, Na Mokupuni ‘O Lawelawe Lodge, Mililani, Oahu, Hawaii was elected National Vice Chief.

Region Chiefs elected were: Grant Howe – North East Region, Art Stevens – East Central Region, Chuck Scales – South East Region, Dean Frommelt – North Central Region, Jim Wilhelm – South Central Region and Louis Monville – Western Region.
