The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) celebrated its 100^th anniversary on February 8, 2010. Since 1937, the BSA has held 18 National Scout Jamborees and has been host to a World Scout Jamboree. Prior to the 2010 National Scout Jamboree, the BSA held a 100^th Anniversary Parade on the national parade route in Washington DC Over 7,000 Scouts participated in the event. Following the parade, the BSA held the last National Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. At the Jamboree, it was announced that all future Jamborees would be held at the Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve.
