Scouting America Rebrand

Scouting America Rebrand

On February 8, 2025, the Boy Scouts of America will be rebranded as Scouting America. As councils and the national organization prepare for this change, the Order of the Arrow will implement this change into our program. This should include the following:

  • Scouting America should replace all mentions of “Boy Scouts of America.”
  • Any reference to Order of the Arrow, Boy Scouts of America should be corrected to Order of the Arrow, Scouting America.
  • Scouting replaces the abbreviation and the name “Boy Scouts.” There is no new acronym for Scouting America.
  • Reference to the BSA in items (BSA swim test, BSA medical forms, etc.) should just be removed.

The National Communications Committee has provided updated branding assets that are available here, but this change will also require adjustments to each lodge’s web and social media presence. Lodges should follow the same guidance as their home council in getting these aspects of their communication rebranded. That guidance can be found here.
