Social Media Content Manager

The Social Media Content Manager serves as part of the Content Team within the National Communications Committee. In this role, you will help brainstorm, develop, and organize ideas for social media posts that tell the story of the Order of the Arrow. Once ideas are approved, you will write captions and draft post content to support the national social media strategy. You will work closely with the Design Team, which will produce graphics and visual elements to accompany your posts. As a member of the Content Team, you will collaborate with writers, designers, and team leadership to ensure that all social media content supports the OA’s brand, promotes key programs and events, and engages the Scouting community across multiple platforms. Through this role, you will strengthen your skills in digital communication, social media writing, and brand storytelling, while helping to promote the mission of the Order of the Arrow to a national audience.

As a nonprofit organization that prioritizes youth leadership, the Order of the Arrow relies on a dedicated team of both youth and adult volunteers to ensure the successful operation of its programs. The national volunteer opportunities within this board are intended for individuals who have already given substantial time at the lodge, section, and region level, and still seek to volunteer further in the OA.
