Please be advised that effective January 1, 2027 the price for a Founder's Award will increase to $90, and the price for Vigil Honor will increase to $22. Since January 1, 2022, the Order of the Arrow has absorbed the increasing costs related to production, printing, and shipping of award materials. Due to significant recent cost increases, the OA is no longer in a position where we can cover these rising costs without passing on an increase in the price charged to lodges for this service. The Order of the Arrow will continue to provide the same level of recognition and materials for the Founder's Award and the Vigil Honor.
We are notifying you nearly a year in advance so your lodge can appropriately plan for this increase. Due to the uncertainty of costs associated with producing these awards, shipping costs, and other external factors, we will not provide a timeline expectation for future price increases. It is our hope that this increase will be sufficient for a minimum of three or four years.
