Connect, Empower, Transform: How Thrive Is Helping Lodges Turn Challenges Into Change

Behind every great lodge is a network of leaders who are passionate about their lodge and willing to tackle the weighty responsibilities they face. Yet, in order for these leaders to be successful, they must have access to mentors who have experienced the same challenges and overcome them. Thrive exists to make sure that every lodge has access to a network of experienced Arrowmen ready to empower Lodge leaders to thrive.

Thrive is the Order of the Arrow’s national lodge support program. Its mission is simple: to connect lodges with the right resources, people, and tools to solve their challenges, building stronger leaders in the process.

Built up from leaders across the OA, Thrive Partners are ready to listen, advise and help you forge a path forward. The program is not a mandate for how to run your lodge, but a mentoring partnership built around the biggest goals you have for your lodge.

Every lodge has areas for improvement. Thrive provides an outside perspective to help a lodge identify and prioritize these opportunities for growth. There are no quick fixes; the value of Thrive comes from building those relationships and getting to understand each lodge individually.

What Thrive Does

Thrive works by partnering lodges with a team of experienced Arrowmen who each bring a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences to the lodges they support. These partners care about the lodge’s success and invest time to understand the challenges a lodge may face before offering support.

Once a lodge chooses to engage with Thrive, the process begins with a dynamic investigation into the current state of the lodge. Partners spend time getting to know the lodge’s leadership, culture, and potential areas for growth. From there, the focus shifts to empowering lodge leaders to identify key goals and develop solutions to achieve them.

In addition to the direct support from partners, Thrive also provides unique resources and a direct access to many national groups. These resources include templates, guides, and materials developed over the past six years. Additionally, Thrive has connections with many experts across the Order of the Arrow, providing lodges with answers and advice from the best in the field. No matter what a lodge is looking for, Thrive either has the expertise or can connect them with someone who does.

Who is Thrive For?

Thrive is for any lodge looking to drive themselves into the future. As a lodge leader, you know where your lodge has areas for growth, but you may not know how to tackle it. Thrive is there to help you identify those areas, then develop practical solutions that actually work. Thrive is for lodges big or small, whether already high-performing or looking to reach that level in the next year. Regardless of your membership, geography, or current involvement, Thrive can take your lodge to the next level!

The Results

Thrive has worked with lodges across the country, and the impact speaks for itself. Over the past six years Thrive has worked with over 80 lodges, and continues to be a driving force for lodge improvement. These have included some of the largest lodges in the country, including Amangamek-Wipit Lodge and Tamegonit Lodge, down to some of the lodges that make up the heart of the OA, such as Timmeu Lodge and Ho-Nan-Ne-Ho-Ont Lodge. Not only does Thrive have experience with lodges of all types, but it also has the statistics to back it up. By the end of 2025, Lodges who worked with Thrive saw PMP scores grow by 6.9% compared to the national average (for the 2024-2025 reporting year). This is only the tip of the iceberg of what Thrive can do for your lodge. The best evidence comes from talking to lodges who have done the program, so ask around! You never know what lodges in your section may have worked with Thrive in the past.
