ACES: Introduction to Sustainability


Session Description:

This session will cover the identification and ideal removal of invasive plant species and the best practices for the minimization of harm dealt by invasive species on native plant populations; permaculture, a system of gardening where crops and animals all rely on each other for development and the designing of food forests; and how animals habitats and behaviors have changed due to outside input from human civilization and climate change.

Learning Outcomes:

Outcome 1: Learn about different types of invasive plants and how to remove them. 
Outcome 2: Learn about permaculture and how to implement it.
Outcome 3: Learn about how to implement projects.
